I'm saying prayers with Baileigh tonight and talking about her day and she mentions that a boy on the bus kept trying to kiss her and lift up her dress.
WHAT? WHAT!
I'm just hearing about this now?
What's his name? Where does he live? What's he look like? How old is he? I was both mad and humored. Then I believe I had a panic attack thinking of the next 13 years and how many things I'm not ready for!

I will dress in camo and take out the little pervert! SCARY! Teach her how to do a nice right hook :)
I'm with Chelle! I would be like, "Hey Kid- keep your cotton pickin' hands off my daughter!!!" I get really fierce when it comes to my kids! The other day, I let Amanda practice driving, and these guys were honking at her, and acting stupid. I was so ticked, I flipped them the bird behind Amanda's seat so she couldn't see me. I knew it was wrong, but it was so instinctual, because nobody messes with my kids!
On another note, I thought I did a pretty good job of telling our kids that it's not OK for adults to touch their private areas, but I think I realized that I should also explain that it's not OK for kids to do it either. I say that, because a friend of mine had a son who was checked out and touched by a girl just a year older than he was (around kindergarten age). After that, I told Ben that NOBODY, not adults, kids, teenagers, or anybody can do that. It made me wonder if that girl was experiencing something at home...
Anyway, I would definitely report it to the school....
Wow! What in the world? Men... and boys... oh no, I have two to raise!!! I agree with the ol' "teach her a nice right hook" advice!
