Since my Mom hadn't been to NY in over twenty years we headed to the big Apple on Saturday for some sightseeing.
It was such a hot day that we spent a lot of time in stores to cool off...like the World's Biggest Toys R Us in Time Square, complete with an indoor ferris wheel.
We basically spent the day strolling around and trying to stay cool. We made a stop in Bryant Park (where Good Morning America does their concerts) for a ride on their carousel.
Other stops included a visit to the
American Girl Doll Store since this is a new interest of Baileigh's and to M&M world...because who doesn't love them...and a yummy lunch at the famous
Junior's 
Right across from M&M World is Heshey's...impressive on the outside but disappointing inside!
We had a fun day, despite the heat. It was a long day though and my girls were tuckered out...so was Mommy.
