Hot Town, Summer In The City...

Since my Mom hadn't been to NY in over twenty years we headed to the big Apple on Saturday for some sightseeing.
It was such a hot day that we spent a lot of time in stores to cool off...like the World's Biggest Toys R Us in Time Square, complete with an indoor ferris wheel.
We basically spent the day strolling around and trying to stay cool. We made a stop in Bryant Park (where Good Morning America does their concerts) for a ride on their carousel.
Other stops included a visit to the American Girl Doll Store since this is a new interest of Baileigh's and to M&M world...because who doesn't love them...and a yummy lunch at the famous Junior's Right across from M&M World is Heshey's...impressive on the outside but disappointing inside!
We had a fun day, despite the heat. It was a long day though and my girls were tuckered out...so was Mommy.
