A week from today we should be in sunny Anaheim for our first trip to Disneyland. This is really one of our first true family vacations that doesn't involve visiting relatives. The girls are so excited and so are we since this is the first time to the California park for all of us. Apparently in another blog entry I mispoke (mistyped rather) and said we were going in March...I was impressed to find out how many of you actually read the blog as several people wondered why we were going in March and not in December as I had previously mentioned! But the fact is we leave next week and we can't wait! This trip has been on the horizon for so long and was frequently a form of bribery during Daddy's deployment. The reality that in 7 days we'll be in CA is hard for me to wrap my brain around.
The main task between now and then is finding Baileigh any clothes that will fit her for the 70 degree weather. She had outgrown the majority of her summer wardrobe and it's a little hard to find shorts around here this time of year so we'll just have to see what I can come up with!
I'll be taking a blogging vacation while we're gone but I'm sure I'll have a lot of good pictures for your viewing pleasure when we return.

HO-HO-HO! How ironic that I get to see the girls are playing in Washington snows on the same day we broke a record high (from 1941) in Michigan with 67 degrees!
Not to worry...our snow is coming! No doubt you'll have more snow in New Jersey next year! (I actually recall enjoying it, too, when you kids had snow days--and not just for the hot chocolate!!)
