Another Good-Bye

I'm worn out from all the good-byes! It hasn't been as depressing this time of round knowing we're only 3 hours away and that we already have some plans to return this fall. It feels much different then we we moved from the east coast to the west coast.

Regardless though, its never fun to say good-bye to great friends...I try to keep the perspective that I'm so thankful that it is hard to say good-bye...it means we have great people in our life who love our family. But none the less, it still stinks.

Since our house was completely empty on Wednesday night we crashed at our friends house around the corner. We stayed with these friends back in 2004 when we were moving, too. The girls had fun despite the circumstances surrounding the reason for our stay.

We're thankful that we had this year of our lives to live close to our NJ friends again and reconnect with them. I'm leaving feeling closer to them...the majority have been a part of our lives since 2001, that is a lot of history when you're a military family.
